Dr. Evan Riggleman grew up in a chiropractic family. He has been adjusted every since he was born and has learned a lot . Growing up his passion for sports and health took him to Radford University where he gained an interest in athletic training. He applied and was accepted into the athletic training program where he recieved formal instruction in areas such as injury/illness prevention, first aid and emergency care, assessment of injury/illness, human anatomy and physiology, therapeutic modalities, and nutrition. He worked rotations with teams throughout entire seasons at Radford and also worked Virginia Tech football. He studied and recieved a bachelor degree in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education with a concentration in Athletic Training.
After passing the Board of Certification he recieved his license and continued to St. Louis and entered the doctoral program at Logan College of Chiropractic to further his education in the health field. He took strenuous coursework in basic sciences, human diagnostics, clinical sciences, and chiropractic practice. While at Logan, Dr. Riggleman recieved a second bachelor degree in Life Science and a Doctor of Chiropractic as well as excelling though all of his national board certification examinations in chiropractic and physiotherapy.
Dr. Riggleman met his beautiful fiance Dr. Erica WItgen while attending Logan College in St. Louis. They knew immediately it was meant to be and wanted to start a practice together where combining both of their services could provide superior care to their community.
Dr. Erica Witgen orginally from the small town of Fowler, Michigan. Growing up she always knew she wanted to help people with their health care needs. After graduating high school, she started at Grand Valley State University with a nursing degree in mind. She soon realized that her true calling was in chiropractic. She graduated with bachelors degree in health science and continued on to St. Louis, MO to begin at Logan College of Chiropractic.
During Dr. Witgen's indepth study at Logan she began to focus on nutrition on top of the normal chiropractic coursework. Dr. Witgen served as the Senior Intern Assistant at one of Logan's health center clinics. She learned a diverse set of skills and techinques that can enhance the care she provides to her patients.
In addition to passing her national board certification examinations in chiropractic and physiotherapy and recieving her license, she continued at Logan to further her education and skills in nutrition. Dr. Witgen received a Master's of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance. She also complete the course work and became a certified Internal Health Specialist. Her mission is to enhance and improve the overall health of her patients by providing them with compassion and specialized care. Dr. Witgen will encourage and challenge you to purse your health goals so that you will achieve abundant health for you and your family.

Hi, my name is Dee Dee and I am the Insurance/Billing Specialist at Riggleman Chiropractic Sports and Nutrition. I attended Lord Fairfax Community College in 2005, where I graduated with a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding. Following graduation, I earned my credentialing from the AAPC. Since working at Riggleman Chiropractic, I have experienced the benefits of chiropractic care first hand! If you suffer from joint pain, come see Dr. Evan and Dr. Erica. They can help you!
